On the official Gmail blog, the Google Engineer 'Reed Morse' said that we are using Qwerty keypads that are very old and was invented around 1874. So there is a huge unchange. To change this Google lanched new Gmail Tap feature which lets you do your work with only two characters instead of 26.
So Let's take a look at What is this 'Gmail Tap' and How it is useful:
What is Gmail Tap:
Gmail is a new feature launched by Google Mail Engineers for Android and iOS powered devices. With this new feature you can type your email message by using only two characters instead using 26. These two characters are Dot(.) and Dash(-). This enhancement only works on Gmail Application. In Gmail App when you start typing, the application will open a keyboard containing only two characters (dot and dash) instead of inbuilt keyboard. A simple picture of a mobile phone is shown above in which you can see only two characters. Thus, Google made it very easy and fast to type messages. The chart for the code meanings is also provided below. So update your mobile's Gmail Application and use this new feature. Please don't forget to comment and share this article.
